How reimbursement is calculated
Use this report to list work expenses for review. It subtracts company-card charges and cash advances from out-of-pocket reimbursement. It does not determine tax treatment or approve a payment.
Example: $518.50 in expenses, including $150 paid by company card, leaves $368.50 out of pocket. A $400 advance leaves $31.50 owed back to the company.
Check the payment method on each row, record receipts accurately, and follow your business's expense policy. Do not enter company-card charges as out-of-pocket spending.
