Free QR Code Generator
Make a QR code for a menu, a flyer, a business card, a table tent or the shop window. Pick what the code should do, fill in the box, and download it. The code is made in your browser and it never expires, because nothing sits between the code and your link.
Colors, size and options
Static code: it never expires and works forever. No tracking, no sign-up. If your link changes later, make a new code.
How to use it
- Pick what the code should do: open a website, join Wi-Fi, save a contact, start an email, call or text.
- Fill in the details. The preview updates as you type.
- Optional: change the colors or size under Colors, size and options.
- Scan the preview with your phone to test it.
- Download a PNG for screens and documents, or an SVG for print and signs.
Good to know
- Dark code on a light background scans best. Light codes on dark backgrounds fail on some phones.
- For print, make the code at least 2 cm (about 0.8 inch) wide. Add more size for every few feet of scanning distance.
- Short web addresses make simpler codes that scan faster.
- Always test-scan a printed proof before you print a big run.
Questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. These are static codes: the web address or details are stored inside the code itself. There is no account, no redirect and no subscription that can lapse.
What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?
A dynamic code points to a short link that a company controls, so you can change where it goes later and see scan counts. If that company shuts down or you stop paying, the code stops working. A static code like these points straight to your link and keeps working.
Is it safe to put my Wi-Fi password in a QR code?
Anyone who scans it can join that network, so use it for a guest network, not the one your registers or office computers use. The password is never sent to us.
Can I put my logo in the middle?
Not yet. A logo covers part of the code, so it needs the Highest error correction to stay readable. Request it from the contact page if you want it.
Which file should I download?
PNG for websites, email, documents and social posts. SVG for print shops, signs and anything that gets scaled up, because it stays sharp at any size.
Is it really free?
Yes. No trial, no paid tier, no account. The Small Business Owner Network has no ads and no hidden costs.
Is my information uploaded?
No. The tool runs in your browser. What you type stays on your computer and is never sent to us.
